SMS Terms
Whisk Manager (whiskmanager.com), operated by Edible Sugar Art, provides business management software for home, cottage and custom bakeries. Bakeries using Whisk Manager can text their own customers through Whisk. These terms explain how those text messages work.
Who sends the messages
Texts come from the individual bakery you ordered from or contacted, sent through Whisk Manager on that bakery's behalf.
Your consent is given to that bakery only. Agreeing to texts from one bakery doesn't sign you up for texts from any other bakery or from Whisk Manager.
What messages you may receive
Depending on how you work with a bakery, its texts may include:
- Replies to your inquiries and questions
- Order confirmations and order status updates
- Pickup and delivery details and reminders
- Quote and invoice links, and payment or balance reminders
- Consultation or appointment reminders
- Other customer-service messages about your order
No marketing
This program is for transactional and customer-care messages only. It isn't used for marketing or promotional messages; those would need your separate consent.
How you opt in
Opting in is optional and is not a condition of purchase. You can agree to texts from a bakery in any of these ways:
- On the bakery's Whisk checkout or order form, by entering your mobile number and checking the separate text message box, which is never pre-checked
- On the bakery's Whisk inquiry form, the same way
- Through the bakery's Whisk text-updates link, by entering or confirming your mobile number and checking the same box
- By telling the bakery directly, in person, by phone or in writing; the bakery records your consent in Whisk
If you text a bakery's Whisk texting number yourself, the bakery can reply to you in that conversation.
Each bakery's SMS consent page, linked at the bottom of its Whisk shop, shows the exact wording you agree to.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies with your inquiries and orders. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opting out, opting back in and help
Reply STOP to any text from a bakery's texting number to stop texts from that bakery, however you opted in. You won't get texts from that bakery's texting number again until you reply START.

Privacy
Your mobile number and SMS consent are used only to send you the messages you asked for from that bakery. Neither Whisk Manager nor the bakeries using it sell or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Each bakery's Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions are linked at the bottom of its Whisk shop. Whisk Manager's own Privacy Policy covers text messages too.
