It brings inquiries, quotes, invoices, customers, recipe costing and a production calendar together in one web app, with apps for iPhone, iPad and Android. Paid plans start at $19.99 a month with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required; features vary by plan.

Whisk Manager is designed for home-based and cottage bakers, and it's also used by custom cake designers, wedding cake makers and small storefront bakeries — anyone taking custom cake, cookie, or dessert orders who needs a better system than DMs and spreadsheets.

Is there a free plan or free trial?
Yes, in two ways. The Free Directory Listing plan is $0 forever, with no account needed — it gets your bakery discovered in the Find a Baker directory. And when you sign up at whiskmanager.com, you get a 14-day free trial of Whisk Studio Pro with no credit card required; afterwards you choose Whisk Cottage or Whisk Studio Pro. If you create your account in the iPhone app, the subscription and any free-trial terms are the ones shown in the app before you subscribe.
What's the difference between the Whisk Manager plans?
Free Directory Listing ($0/forever, no account needed) gets you a listing in the Find a Baker directory with a header photo, up to 5 gallery photos, social links, a short bio, and a self-serve edit link. Whisk Cottage ($19.99/mo) covers the essentials for a growing cake and cookie business — dashboard, inquiry form, order management, customer database, invoicing and payment tracking, production calendar, a contract template, recipe collection with AI import, shopping lists, checklists, and basic analytics. Whisk Studio Pro ($24.99/mo) includes everything in Whisk Cottage plus full order management with custom forms, your public Shop Page with gallery and presales, the Cake and Cookie Quote Builders, the Design Studio and Cake Designer, the full Cookie Tools suite, an ingredient label generator, inventory and batch planning, expense/mileage/overhead tracking, advanced analytics and profit analysis, email automations, the Client Portal, the Social Toolkit, the Ambassador program, and phone and push notifications. Signing up on the website starts a 14-day free trial of Whisk Studio Pro with no credit card required, and you choose a plan when it ends. Client Texting is a separate paid service.

Does Whisk Manager include a website or shop page?
Yes. Whisk Studio Pro includes a branded public Shop Page — a storefront with your gallery, products, and an inquiry form — so you don't need to build or pay for a separate website. You can customize your colors, cover photo, policies, and which pages (Gallery, Events, Products, Subscriptions) are visible. There's also a completely free Find a Baker directory listing if you're not ready for the full app yet.
Can I use Whisk Manager if I already have my own website?
Yes. You can embed the Whisk Manager inquiry form directly into your existing website with a copy-paste embed code, link out to your Whisk Manager Shop Page, or do both — inquiries flow into Whisk Manager either way.
Does Whisk Manager help my bakery get found in Google and AI search?
Yes. Every Shop Page (Whisk Studio Pro) automatically generates structured business data (schema markup), SEO-friendly page titles and descriptions, and a listing opportunity in the public Find a Baker directory — all without any technical setup on your end. Nobody can guarantee rankings in Google or AI answers, but these give search engines clear, accurate information about your bakery.

Does Whisk Manager work with Square or Stripe?
Yes. On Whisk Studio Pro you can connect Stripe or Square so clients pay invoices, deposits and balances by card, and import supported items from your Square catalog into your shop. Invoices with deposits and balances are included on both plans.
Can I track recipe costs and profit per order?
Yes, on Whisk Studio Pro. Recipes link to your inventory so ingredient costs calculate automatically, and the Profit Analysis tools show what you actually earned per order after ingredients, labor, and overhead — not just what you charged. Both plans include a recipe collection with AI import.
Does Whisk Manager support presales or limited drops?
Yes, on Whisk Studio Pro. You can set up limited-time ordering windows for specific products or holidays, with an ordering deadline and fulfillment date, and track presale orders separately from regular orders.

Is there a Whisk Manager app for my phone?
Yes. The Whisk Manager app is available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store and for Android on Google Play, and the iPhone and iPad app works with Whisk Studio Pro. Whisk also works right from your browser on desktop, tablet, or phone. No download is required to use Whisk in your browser, and you can add it to your phone's home screen (iPhone via Safari's "Add to Home Screen," Android via Chrome's "Add to Home screen") for an app-like experience. How do I add Whisk Manager to my phone's home screen?
On iPhone (Safari): open Whisk Manager, tap the Share button (square with an arrow), scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen," then tap Add. On Android (Chrome): open Whisk Manager, tap the three-dot menu in the top right, tap "Add to Home screen," then confirm. You'll get a Whisk Manager icon on your home screen that opens straight into the app — no download required. You can also install the Whisk Manager app from the App Store (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play (Android).
Does Whisk Manager sync with Google Calendar?
Whisk Manager gives you a private calendar feed you can subscribe to in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, so your orders appear alongside everything else. It's a one-way feed: changes you make in Google Calendar don't come back into Whisk Manager, so you update orders in Whisk.
Can I text my clients from Whisk Manager?
Yes, in two ways. From any order you can open your phone's Messages app to text the client from your own number. Or add Client Texting, a separate paid service, for a dedicated business number with the conversations stored in Whisk Manager.
